A Scholar–Performer with a Distinct Voice
A Bengali by origin and Chennai-based by practice, Dr Jagyaseni Chatterjee has carved a unique niche in the Bharatanatyam world over the past decade. A Tribute to the Carnatic Trinity
The Sacred Trinity delves into the rich spiritual landscape shaped by the legendary Carnatic composers—Muthuswami Dikshitar, Syama Sastri, and Saint Tyagaraja. Through Bharatanatyam’s evocative vocabulary, Dr Chatterjee will interpret:

Together, these works form the thematic and emotional centre of the evening.

The production is conceptualised and choreographed by celebrated artist Dr Lakshmi Ramaswamy—Tamil Nadu State Awardee, Top Grade Doordarshan artiste, Fulbright Fellow, and Senior Fellowship recipient from the Ministry of Culture. She will also lead the performance with Nattuvangam.
