4th National POSH Conclave to Bring Together Government, Judiciary and Industry to Strengthen Workplace Safety

The 4th National POSH Conclave & Excellence Awards, organised by NoMeansNo Foundation, will be held at The Lalit, New Delhi, bringing together policymakers, members of the judiciary, senior government officials, corporate leaders, legal experts and HR professionals to advance India’s commitment to creating safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces.

The conclave will be inaugurated by Dr. Rashmi Singh, IAS, Secretary, Department of Women & Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi, who will address the gathering on the importance of collaboration between government, industry and civil society in strengthening workplace safety and dignity.

One of the key highlights of the conclave will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Women & Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi, and NoMeansNo Foundation. The partnership aims to strengthen POSH awareness, institutional capacity building and compliance support across Delhi. As part of the collaboration, the 181 Women Helpline will also provide guidance on workplace sexual harassment-related matters, making support more accessible for employees and organisations.

The Chief Guest, Smt. Annapurna Devi, Hon’ble Union Minister for Women & Child Development, Government of India, will deliver the keynote address, highlighting the Government’s continued commitment to promoting safer and more inclusive workplaces across the country.

The day-long conclave will feature thought-provoking panel discussions on organisational accountability, reporting culture, leadership responsibility and fair workplace investigations. Experts from government, industry and the legal fraternity will discuss how organisations can move beyond statutory compliance to build workplaces rooted in trust, respect and accountability.

The conclave will also feature eminent speakers, including Hon’ble Justice Prathiba M. Singh, Judge, Delhi High Court; Dr. Pinky Anand, Senior Advocate and Former Additional Solicitor General of India; Shri Ajay Chaudhary, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police; Dr. Pavan Duggal, Senior Advocate and cyber law expert; and Veda Bharadwaja, Country Programme Manager (Ending Violence Against Women), UN Women.

During the valedictory session, Hon’ble Justice Prathiba M. Singh will release The Grey Files, a legal fiction authored by Vishal Bhasin, Co-Founder of NoMeansNo Foundation. Inspired by workplace harassment cases, the book presents fictional POSH inquiries that offer practical insights into investigations, procedural fairness and organisational learning.

Speaking ahead of the conclave, Vishal Bhasin, Co-Founder of NoMeansNo Foundation, said, “The future of workplace safety lies in creating cultures where fairness, respect and accountability are experienced every day. Organisations today are increasingly focused on building employee trust, not merely achieving compliance.”

The conclave will conclude with the National POSH Excellence Awards, recognising organisations and professionals for their outstanding contribution towards creating safer, more inclusive and respectful workplaces across India.
