At the glittering trailer launch event in Bangalore, actress Rukmini Vasanth spoke with heartfelt honesty about her role as Queen Kanakavathi in Kantara: Chapter 1. She described the film as not just another project but a journey that has profoundly transformed her both professionally and personally. Calling it one of the most cherished experiences of her career, Rukmini emphasized how deeply the film has impacted her life.

Rukmini began by expressing her sincere thanks to producer Vijay Kiragandur and Hombale Films for giving her the opportunity to collaborate with them for the second time. She went on to share her immense appreciation for director Rishab Shetty, crediting him for her artistic and personal growth:
“Kantara Chapter 1 is a film which is very close to my heart. I can’t thank you enough, Rishab Sir, because during the making of this film, I have grown not just as an actress but as a human being.
