The idea behind Apna Adda was born during a road trip through Uttarakhand, where co-founders Oshikka Lumb and Ashish began discussing the explosive growth of second homes across India’s lifestyle-driven and pilgrimage destinations. The founders spent over a year living in Uttarakhand near Lansdowne, closely observing second-home trends and understanding the real challenges faced by buyers—challenges common across hills, beaches, and spiritual towns alike. Phase 2: E-Commerce for Second Homes & Hospitality
Recognising another major gap in second-home ownership, Apna Adda has announced Phase 2—a B2B e-commerce delivery platform for groceries and hotel-grade essentials.
This platform will serve second homes, homestays, resorts, and farmhouses, ensuring seamless supply of daily essentials and improved guest experience, particularly in remote and high-tourism locations.
Advisory Board, Hiring & Launch Timeline
Apna Adda will soon be announcing its Advisory Board, comprising senior leaders and experts from both the real estate and hospitality sectors, to guide the platform’s strategic growth, governance, and industry best practices.
